Caleb Markey held several full-time and seasonal jobs throughout high school, including working as a busboy, waiter, parking attendant, lot attendant, and farm hand. He also worked part-time doing landscaping. Caleb’s goal was to find a job that would allow him to work outside, operating equipment. His vice principal, Vicky Storey advised him that her husband was looking for graduating high school seniors who were seeking full-time employment. Caleb joined the Barkyard team in the spring of 2020. In his newly appointed role as assistant manager he has begun focusing on customer service; working in the office, answering phone calls, and providing product information and landscaping tips to customers.
As a kid, Caleb enjoyed going hunting, camping on the lake in Prineville, and working at his grandfather’s ranch. These days he spends most of his time doing homework for college. Time off from work and school is spent hanging out with friends, riding quads in the mountains, or doing side jobs for his family.
