Kiana Petersen’s background in business and accounting made her the perfect choice for our new office assistant. Her organizational and planning skills have proved invaluable to keeping the business running smoothly. Kiana says that she chose to pursue the position at Siegmund Landscape for several reasons, including the chance to work in a community environment, rather than a corporate retail one.
Growing up, Kiana was very involved in school. She played soccer, basketball, and volleyball, and was active in the choir. Her stint as yearbook editor saw her spending a majority of her time photographing students and staff at various school events. Weekends were spent at the beach, or with family and friends.
Now, Kiana’s time away from work is devoted to her 8-month-old son. She is very family oriented, and enjoys doing things with her mother and step-father. She also has two dogs that get a lot of her attention. When she does have free time, Kiana enjoys drawing, designing and creating. She says that design is a big hobby of hers; from finding old things and making them new, to creating something out of nothing. She likes to figure out knew ways to think outside the box.
